A note from Sarah, our organiser;

After 3 years,

14 markets,

289 individual stall holders,

114 press releases,

105,000 home designed flyers and

2772 emails sent,

not to mention 2 home births and a house renovation...

..it’s time the team and I took a break!

We have big ideas for the future of the Made-it Market; new ideas, new venues, new team members, new ways of growing... We’re going to take some time to explore where to go from here, and take a breather. For now, we’re not setting any new dates.

But, this is not goodbye!

We plan to return, better than ever in the winter of 2013.

The Made-it Market is a new type of craft fair based in the East of England, specialising in high quality handmade and home designed products. We began in February 2010 with just a handful of stall holders and have since grown to have a family of around 70 designer-makers from across Britain who exhibit, sell and network through our events.

Our passion is for creativity, tactility and good design. We believe that there’s something special and important about treasuring crafts, handling the handmade, and supporting designers who pursue creative excellence. Each Made-it Market offers a chance to see designers at work, purchase one-off handmade pieces and find inspirations and ideas to try at home.

We’re a select and friendly group... we quite like it that way, but we are growing bigger as time goes on. We are always on the look out for new designers to join us, who can be sure of a warm welcome and the opportunity to find new like-minded friends.
